It looks like a fine, soft, organdy mesh, but  is actually a knitted  wire.   It is tubular, so you can thread ribbon or beads through it.  The ends compress so you can use it as a base for jewellery to thread beads or fancy buttons onto it.  It is 6mm. wide and can be pulled out to make a flat ribbon  approx. 3 cm. wide, or pull it out unevenly to achieve a wavy band.   If you do not like the effect, pull both ends and it reverts to its original size and shape.    It is a marvellous, creative product with applications across a whole  range of crafts.  The price is shown per metre.  All colours shown are just a guide, as colours can vary from monitor to monitor.
